Keynote Speakers

We are honoured to have the following prominent scientists as our keynote speakers with the proposed titles of their presentations:

1) Dr Stephen David Elliott (Chiang Mai University) 
    "Restoring Tropical Forest Ecosystems: General Principles and Opportunities for Conserving Endemic, Endangered and Threatened Tree Species"










   
2) Dr Lai Hoe Ang (Forest Research Institute Malaysia) 
     "Rehabilitation and Restoration of Problematic Sites"















Excursion


Registered participants for the excursion (included in registration fee) will have a chance to visit FRIM Research Station in Bidor, Perak, an ex-tin mine, which has been rehabilitated using both indigenous and exotic species.
